Jerry Imes

It is with great sorrow that the family of Jerry Robin Imes of Pueblo, Colorado grieve his passing on March 19. 2019 at the age of 51. He was born in Fort Collins, Colorado on May 2, 1967. Jerry was known to all as one of the kindest, gentlest and loving person. Jerry grew up in Beulah, Colorado riding horses, hiking trails and having pine cone fights with his siblings. Jerry attended high school in Pueblo and was a 1986 Central High graduate and played football for the Wildcats. Jerry served in the United States Navy, served the people of Freemont County working in the sheriff department but his passion was a cross country semi truck driver. That love and passion for driving the big trucks started at the age of 5. He even got caught driving his father's truck around Beulah at the age of 7. Jerry is survived by his wife, Michelle Bailey, his children; Merysa Swallow (Ryan), Cierra Wills ( Wade), Dakota and Dalton Imes, step-children; Morgan and Mikela Bailey and grandchildren Brook Swallow, and Hunter Wills. He is also survived by his siblings; Randa Burch (Max), Rae Marie Hartmann (Ron), Rusty Imes (Claudia) and Steve Hobson (Jan). He leaves many cherished nephews, nieces, cousins, friends and an Aunt Betty Householder in Alabama. Jerry is now reunited with his sibling, Rob Imes, and parents Bob and Hazel Imes who preceded him in death. He will be deeply missed. An open house to celebrate his life will be held on Sunday, May 5, 2019 at his residence.
