Steve, age 62 born in Florence CO unexpectedly passed away 12/28/23 at home in Henderson,
CO.
He was preceded in death by his mother Loretta Stout. He is survived by his Father Bernie
Rivera (Chris), wife Rochelle Rocky Cobb, brothers Scott Rivera and Marc Stout. Also survived by
his children Brian Makowski (Erika), Laureen Eastin (Tim), Christopher Makowski (Ashley), 6
grandchildren, numerous Nieces, Nephews, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and In-laws.
Steve spent the last 20 or so years as a warehouse associate for QCD (Golden State Foods) and
Kmart Distribution (known there as Mergeman). Also worked as a cook at Mr. C’s Restaurant
and in the plating/welding industry.
He was a quick wit, not much passed him by. He had several passions- fish, turtles, beer
paraphernalia, music, 2007 Ford Ranger and his house. Trips to Puerto Vallarta Mexico.
Private celebration will be held for family and friends 04/28/24.
