Joseph “Joe” Walsh

Funeral Director

A first-generation funeral director, Joe Walsh learned to care for others at an early age by his mother, a nurse. After graduating from Englewood High School in Englewood, Colorado, Joe received his associate of applied science in mortuary science from the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science. Joe received his Kansas Funeral Director License #2450 and Embalmers License #3430. Currently, he is a Certified Mortuary Science Practitioner with the Colorado Funeral Directors Association.


Joe is also the current president of the Colorado Funeral Directors Association and a board member on the Colorado Funeral Service Board, which is responsible for certifying funeral directors. Following college, he has worked as a funeral director in the Denver area for 30 years.

Sean Abbott

Funeral Director and Embalmer

Sean Abbott is a first-generation funeral director, a Navy Veteran, and a certified mortuary science practitioner with the Colorado Funeral Directors Association. Sean is also a Certified Crematory Operator and Certified Cremation Arranger.


In his spare time, Sean enjoys reading, riding motorcycles, studying history, and spending time with his family. Sean currently operators our crematory and assists with services.

Sandra Abbott

Family Services Counselor

With over 25 years of experience in office management and customer service, Sandra Abbott prides herself on making sure every service is the best it can be. She also keeps us in line!


When she's not serving families at the funeral home, Sandra likes to read, cook, and ride motorcycles with Sean and their daughter.

Abby Deroo

Funeral Director

Abby Deroo is a family support and planning specialist with over fifteen years of experience. She grew up in a small town in eastern Colorado and moved to the Metro area shortly after graduating. After experiencing the loss of her best friend in grade school, Abby became passionate about assisting others through grieving and laying their loved ones to rest, and she has a huge respect for those who have passed.


As she serves families, her goal is to provide an exceptional service and contribution to each individuals life story, achievements, and shared memories while having consideration of their last wishes and what their loved ones feel is important. She has found a great fulfillment and passion in her career and values each family she serves.


In her spare time, Abby enjoys hiking, water sports, and spending time with her family and two dogs.
